Instructions
In a bowl, combine the yellow mustard powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried sage, dried marjoram, dried basil, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place.
The homemade French mustard and herb blend is now ready to be used as a condiment, marinade, or as an ingredient in sauces and dressings.
Notes
To use the blend, mix 1/4 cup of the dry blend with 1/2 cup of white wine vinegar and 1/2 cup of water. Stir until well combined.
Allow the mixture to sit for at least 8 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld together.
