Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the gochugaru, dried garlic powder, dried ginger powder, salt, sugar, paprika, and onion powder. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the dry seasoning blend to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.

Notes

When making kimchi, simply mix 2-3 tablespoons of this dry seasoning blend with Napa cabbage, radish, scallions, and other ingredients of your choice to taste. Add water, rice vinegar, or other liquid to hydrate the ingredients and create the desired texture.
