Ingredients
- 2 tbsp allspice berries
- 2 tbsp coriander seeds
- 2 tbsp mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp black mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp black peppercorns
- 2 tbsp whole cloves
- 2 tbsp dill seeds
- 2 cinnamon sticks broken into pieces
- 4 dried bay leaves crumbled
- 2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix well to distribute the ingredients evenly.
- Store the pickling spice blend in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
- Use the pickling spice blend in your favorite pickling recipes or add a tablespoon to a quart of vinegar and boiling water to make a quick pickling solution.
