Meatball Sub Casserole

All the flavors of a hearty sandwich, but stuffed in this Meatball Sub Casserole! This Italian-inspired recipe is kid-friendly, and tasty!

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Remove biscuit dough from can and separate into 8 individual biscuits. Cut each individual biscuit into eighths. 
  • In a mixing bowl, toss together dough pieces, frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until dough and meatballs are completely coated with sauce and seasonings. 
  • Arrange casserole ingredients evenly in baking dish.
  • Top with half the mozzarella cheese, and cover baking dish with nonstick aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, and then remove aluminum foil. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese and sauce are hot and bubbling.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
