Lasagna Sliders

These delicious, savory little sandwiches are a wonderful addition to a game day spread, or for a casual, weeknight family dinner.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a heavy skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned.

  • Drain grease from cooked meat, and return to pan.
  • Continue cooking meat, add onion powder, garlic powder, and marinara sauce to the ground beef, and cook for five more minutes.
  • Separate slider buns, and cut in half to create a top half and bottom half.

  • Coat a 9 x 11 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray, and arrange the bottom halves of the buns in the casserole dish.

  • Spread ricotta cheese over the bottom half of the bonds.
  • Spread ground beef mixture over the ricotta cheese, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

  • Place the top of the slider buns and the mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover casserole dish with aluminum foil, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until mozzarella cheese is thoroughly melted
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave in 30-second intervals until thoroughly melted, mix in garlic powder until well combined.
  • Remove aluminum foil from the casserole dish, brush the sliders with melted garlic butter, and bake for five more minutes uncovered.
