Pear Cobbler
This Pear Cobbler is one of my FAVORITE desserts. It is made with fresh pears, cinnamon, sugar, and a few other simple, tasty ingredients.

Ingredients

pears
sliced thin

granulated sugar

stick
butter

all-purpose flour

baking powder

ground cinnamon

tsp
salt

whole milk

egg
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Mix pears with sugar and set aside
Melt butter and pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish
Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and eggs
Slowly combine egg mixture with dry ingredients
Pour batter mixture on top of butter in the baking dish. DO NOT STIR.
Spoon pears on top of batter. Again do not stir.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes
When pears are tender, and a toothpick test comes out clean, remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool shortly on a cooling rack
Can be enjoyed warm or cold.
