Ingredients

  • 1 prepared frozen deep-dish pie crust
  • 8 oz bacon crumbles
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • In a bowl, vigorously whisk together eggs, milk, whipping, cream nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir in chives.
  • Spread bacon crumbles and shredded cheese evenly across the bottom of the pie crust.
  • Pour in egg mixture.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until eggs are fully cooked. Quiche will deflate a little when removed from the oven, that’s normal.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
