Ingredients

red potatoes
skin on, chopped

garlic
minced

butter

milk

cup
shredded parmesan cheese
1½
tsp
salt
ground black pepper
to taste
Instructions
In a large pot, fill enough water to cover potatoes by an inch.
Bring potatoes to a boil and cook for approximately 15 to 25 minutes or until fork-tender.
Remove potatoes and drain water.
In the same large pot, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Do not burn.
Return potatoes to pot with melted garlic butter and pour in the milk.
Using a potato masher, or electric hand mixer, mash potatoes to desired consistency.
Mix in Parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
