WHAT IS A CRAB CAKE SLIDER?

Crab cakes are usually made with crab meat, mayo, bread crumbs, and a few other ingredients and fried in a pattie shape. This slider recipe takes those delicious crab cakes and puts them in small slider buns and is topped with cheese and a cajun remoulade sauce.

WHAT DOES THIS MINI CRAB CAKE SANDWICH TASTE LIKE?

These little crab cake sandwiches are rich in seafood and Cajun flavors such as garlic, paprika, and cayenne. The slider gets an added creamy kick from the remoulade sauce.

A little bit of stacking, a little bit of brushing, and a little bit of baking. This crab cake sandwich is one of the easiest recipes around. The utilization of pre-made crab cakes definitely helps cut down on time and effort.

CAN YOU MAKE CRAB CAKE SLIDERS AHEAD OF TIME?

The fresher the better with these sandwiches. It is ok to make these a couple of hours in advance if you are planning to bring them to a party, but I would not want to keep reheating these sliders. Cover them with aluminum foil to keep them fresh and to prevent the bread from drying out.

CAN YOU FREEZE A CRAB CAKE SANDWICH?

I would not freeze these sliders. There are only so many times you can reheat crab cakes in my opinion. Also, if you add the remoulade sauce, and then try to thaw it out after freezing the sauce, it would be a molten mess.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH CRAB CAKE SLIDERS WITH REMOULADE SAUCE?

These little crab cake sandwiches would go great with some fries, or potato salad. Keep it casual.
