I call it Oreo Cobbler because that’s pretty much the only name I can think of. It is a combination of Oreo cookies and cake. You simply layer all the ingredients on top of each other and bake it. It is very sweet, and very decadent. A little goes a long way.
This sweet, caky, dessert only has a few flavors, but they combine to make a rather rich dessert. There is plenty of vanilla flavor from the cookies, cake, and whipped topping. It is moist, thanks to the condensed milk. And hint of savory from the butter. It hits on all the notes that an awesome dessert should have!
This is probably one of the easiest recipes I am going to share with you!
Yes! You can make this dessert ahead of time. It is best enjoyed warm, but, I have also had it at room temperature, and even out of the refrigerator. Make it ahead of time and bring it to a potluck, or save it for dessert at a tailgate party! Just keep it covered with aluminum foil until you are ready to enjoy it. It will keep in the refrigerator for a few days.
You can freeze Oreo Cobbler in an airtight container. When you are ready to enjoy it, take it out and let it warm up to room temperature.
This dessert is best enjoyed on its own. Perhaps a cold glass of milk, or a cup of coffee! Need more easy dessert recipes? Check out these Key Lime Sugar Cookies. Want more sweet treats recipes? Perhaps:
