A mini sandwich loaded with plenty of meat and cheese! These Turkey Bacon Sliders are perfect for game day parties, and game night snacks!
TURKEY BACON SLIDERS RECIPE
Does anyone else remember their “first”? No, I am not referring to that first! Crazies. I am talking about their first turkey club sandwich! Well, I do. I am an odd duck like that. The Rusty Nail, in Ridgefield, CT. Sadly it has since closed. But, it was also the location of the first, and also the best turkey club I have ever eaten. Everything about it was perfect. The bread wasn’t too thick, there was a good amount of mayo, and the turkey was not too dry. It hit on all cylinders. I will let you judge these sliders for yourself, but heads up, they are rather tasty!
WHAT IS A TURKEY BACON SLIDER?
Sliders have been around for decades and many credit White Castle for their popularity. However, the flavors and variations for slider sandwiches are limited only by humankind’s creativity. This particular version is like a miniature turkey club, minus any of the vegetables (baked lettuce, yuck!).
WHAT DOES THIS TURKEY CLUB SLIDERS RECIPE TASTE LIKE?
Savory, all the way around. This is a little, hearty sandwich, and stopping at one or two might prove to be a tough task. The bacon gives salty crispiness that adds some texture to all the softer ingredients. They are almost snackable!

- On top of half the dough rectangle, layer half of the Swiss cheese, all of the turkey, 2 small pieces of bacon, and finally the remaining Swiss cheese.
- Fold dough over the slider filling, however, do not seal the dough together. Arrange uncooked sliders in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until biscuits are cooked to a golden brown.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine melted butter and garlic powder. Using a basting brush, coat the tops of slider buns.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
CAN YOU MAKE TURKEY BACON SLIDERS AHEAD OF TIME?
You can make these sliders earlier in the day, or even the day before. The ingredients are pretty basic, and you don’t need to be too concerned about the consistency changing, or turning mushy. These are great for meal prepping or baking in advance and taking them to a party.
CAN YOU FREEZE TURKEY CLUB SLIDERS?
You feel store these in an airtight container, then you could freeze these sandwiches. Just try to prevent freezer burn. I would also reheat them on a lower setting in the microwave since the bacon can cook rather rapidly, or better yet, let them thaw out a bit if you are going to go this route.
WHAT TO SERVE WITH TURKEY CHEDDAR BACON SLIDERS?
Sliders are usually flavorful and filling enough to be served on their own, and these turkey and bacon sandwiches are no different! I love Garlic Potato Wedges with sliders!
