Add some flavor to your plain, boring chicken breast. These seasoned chicken breasts are great on their own, or sliced up for a salad.
BAKED SEASONED CHICKEN BREASTS RECIPE
We go through a lot of chicken in our household. I don’t quite know how else to explain it. But it’s quite impressive. During the height of the pandemic, when all the schools were shut down, a large commercial food supplier had a surplus of frozen chicken that would have normally been delivered and served in school cafeterias. Instead, they set up shop in a big parking lot at the local fairgrounds, with a few refrigerated tractor trailers on-site, and sold the chicken to individuals for a bargain price. We got a bunch of chicken breasts. I figured it would last us a long time…it didn’t. Between chicken tenders in the air fryer, and Instant Pot Chicken Carnitas, we tore through that supply in seemingly no time at all. We also cooked a ton baked and roasted chicken breasts.
This is the spice mix we used on the chicken. This mix is great because it adds flavor to the chicken, but doesn’t make the flavors specific enough where meat can’t be used in a variety of quick lunches and dinners.
WHAT DOES THIS SEASONED CHICKEN BREAST TASTE LIKE?
These chicken breasts are so savory, and juicy! The seasoning is loaded with flavors and not overly spicy. The paprika and ground cumin give this spice recipe a lot of flavors, while the chili powder gives it a little bit of heat. The cooked chicken is great on its own, or mixed into salads and sandwiches!

Yes! I like to make a few batches of the grilled chicken seasoning and store it in an old glass jar that is airtight, it will keep for quite a while in the cabinet.

Slice it up, and store the chicken in an airtight container. You can definitely freeze these cooked chicken breasts. They are a perfect meal prep food, or great to have handy when you are running low on original dinner ideas.
